The factory has sent us the 3D prints . . . and we immediately noticed an error. The Mark VI was output too small; the factory will be sending us a replacement print in September.

The official order has been sent to the factory and they are now working on the steel molds for these two miniatures. We should see the test shots in October/November, and we'll be sure to share pics when the tests arrive.

Now we start the process of making the metal molds which you paid for thank you thank you, checking test shots, revising the mold if necessary and we hope it isn't, and so on. There will be updates as milestones are reached.
And it's time to start thinking about the next Ogre Miniatures campaign, though of course we won't launch it until this one is done or at least within reach. My own inclination is to do some Combine armor units next. I see the request for structures, and I'd like to redo those someday, but it appears that more people will use more of the Combine armor. Which, yes, might include Ogres Mark I and II.

I'm just back from Gen Con. There were approving comments there about this campaign, the great painted minis, and the level of support that has been shown.
I also did "Steve Vs. The World," and won 8 out of 10 games. You folks need to practice up, and come get me at FnordCon next year!
Let's see where we close on this project. I bet we break 125%!

I am please to confirm that just a short time ago the Fixed Goal target for this campaign has reached, making Ogre Miniatures Set 3 a reality. 100% funded . . . woo-hoo!! And this is with over four days still to go! The devotion of Ogre fans never ceases to amaze me and I'm proud to be your humble servant.
So, where do we go from here? Well, lets see where we end up first. There are lots of possibilities which will be influenced by our end point. But that doesn't prevent me from asking this question: how are you going to use these monstrosities? Do you have a scenario or two in mind? And if you do . . . would you care to share?
So, Ogre fans. I'm throwing down the gauntlet. How do you intend to use these Ogres?
